Pregnancy and maternity care

If you’ve found out you are pregnant, it’s best to see a midwife as soon as possible.

You can book an appointment directly with a midwife service without seeing a GP first.

If you are more than six weeks pregnant you can now book your maternity care directly with the Royal Surrey Hospital's maternity services by completing their self-referral form.

Are you expecting a baby? You and your partner are invited to join a free antenatal session run by Children and Family Health Surrey health visitors. The free sessions are open to everyone living in Surrey from 28 weeks pregnant onwards.

If the services above are not suitable, you can request an appointment at the surgery.
